Her father was in the Puerto Rico State Guard and was part of their elite force. He didn't have any sons so he trained her as though she was one. She followed in her father's footsteps. First, serving in the Puerto Rican Army then was recruited by the US military as a Navy Seal. She was one of the first hispanic women to become a Seal. Although she was an efficient soldier, her superiors were less than satisfied with her performance. She was too brash and often disregarded her orders when it came to bringing her targets back alive. They considered her methods too extreme and when her enlistment time was up, she was not asked to re-enlist. Feeling betrayed by the Navy, she decided that she would continue dispensing justice in one form or another. She settled in New York and was hired by the NYPD, unfortunately, it wasn't long after that her problems with following orders resurfaced. She was reprimanded many times for using excessive force in her arrests and was let go after a couple of years. With crime in the city reaching an all time high, she decided that she could not stand idly by. Justice needed to be rendered and she would bring that justice by any means necessary. Some people call her a hero, others call her a vigilante. She calls herself, Spanish Fly. Powers Military training: She doesn't have any super powers but has trained in hand to hand combat ever since she was 4. Accuracy: She is also an expert marksman. Paraphernalia: Spanish Fly carries two pistols usually loaded with rubber bullets so she can disables the bad guys without kill them. She does carry high-impact hollow point bullets if needed. Her costume is laced with body armor and she rides a customized motorcycle to help her on her adventures. |
