Mike O'Brien. He is also one of Gageport's finest police officers, and is referred by many in the force as being "Incorruptible". Rick gets a lot of his morals and attitude from his grandfather whom he looked up to when he was a child. Rick excelled in his studies at school and graduated with top honours. He chose a career in law enforcement to follow in his grandfather's footsteps. He graduated at the top of his class at the academy and his physical stamina was incredible. But his police work at Gageport police department started to sour on him when he saw too many criminals he had captured being set free with as little as a slap on the wrist. He saw the corruption in the department and wanted to do something about it. Seeking some advice he turned to his grandfather. Mike told him about the secret of Madam Guardian and how he and Rick's parents had brought the fable alive by punishing those who dared harm their city. When Rick's parents went away, Rick, along with his wife Delia Johnson, took the helm of Madame Guardian and continued the fight to protect Gageport from the toxins within. Powers Martial arts: Rick's mastery of martial arts started way before his police academy training. Weekends in his youth visiting his grandpa, he received the same training as Ultimate did without his sister Heather knowing. He trained in the art of shinobi and even studied parkour to turn the surrounding elements as a weapon in case of close quarters combat. The parkour technique also helps him travel faster through the city's obstacles. Weaknesses: Rick believes he has no weaknesses but he is still a man. Paraphernalia: In his Madam Guardian guise, Rick has a bullet proof armor to handle most bullet attacks and stab wounds. His mask also filters out toxins and fumes. He also has night vision through the eye holes in his mask. Rick's stealth and parkour ability makes the shadows and darkness his weapon of choice. Rick likes to hang upside down in the darkness for easy head fatalities. Rick also hides special tonfas weapons up his sleeve with special stun gun electric attacks on the tips. |
