Along with her friends Anahi, Patricia and Claudia the girls were working on an experiment involving cosmic energy, when an unforseen accident occured. The girls were exposed to a high dose of cosmic energy. To save their life, the Professor injected them with a serum that allowed them to survive thier ordeal. It also enabled them to manipulate the cosmic energy within them. Now imbued with special abilities, the girls decided to use them to do good. Under the names Pink Starlight, Blue Destiny, Purple Space and White Energy the Girls formed M9 Girls. In time, they were joined by Golden. At first, Karla appears uppity and snobbish, being a social butterfly. She seems aloof and materialistic. However, it has been suggested that she is actually very smart although she does not like to let that part of her personality become very apparent. Being a fashionista, Karla likes dressing well. She wears an elegant magical girl outfit, designed by herself in what she thinks is proper super hero fashion. She has also taken it upon herself to design her team's superhero uniforms. Powers Light projection: Karlita can command light. The most obvious form of this power is her ability to produce colorful sparks and light glows from her hands. She can actually surround her whole body in any kind of light. Taken to the extreme, she can dazzle and blind opponents. Invisibility: An interesting side effect of her power is that she can actually become white light, rendering her effectively invisible. Enhanced vitals: Her metabolism has been improved giving her enhanced strength and reflexes. Martial arts: She has basic martial art training. Her fighting style is a mix of aikido and capoeira, being on the defensive side and using the strength of the enemy against them. Weaknesses: The more intense the light produced, the more energy she requires to sustain it. In general, continuous use of her powers will drain her of cosmic energy. Her stamina is finite. She would become powerless if she had not access to cosmic energies. |
