Created by: Matthew Becker (BlayneDaymon) First appearance: Currently in the process of being published into a comic Other picture: Permafrost full body | Real Name: Victoria Frost Hair: White with two streaks of light running down the sides Eyes: Blue Height: 5 foot 5 inches Age: 18 Born in: USA Ethical alliance: Good History Victoria is the daughter of an infamous ice villainess. After she was born, she was taken by government agents and given to her mother's parents, where she was monitored by to see if she had any superpowers. After 12 years, it was deemed that she had no super powers but at the age of 13 she developped ice powers just like her mother. Over the next 4 years, she practiced in secret to refine her abilities. When she was 17 her skin turned its current color and unable to further hide the truth any longer, told her grandparents about her powers. Her grandparents decided that it was time to tell her who her mother was, but she surprised them by claiming that she had already known. She told them that she understood why they had kept the truth from her but now that her secret was out, she told them that she wanted to make up for her mother's misdeeds. Her grandparents were reluctant to allow her to become a superhero, and told her to hide her identity until she was sure of herself. To keep out of sight and still move around the city she assumed the guise of a devout Islamist and dressed in a burqa. Powers Energy absorption: Victoria can absorb all types of thermal energy, from ambient heat to direct contact heat. Her body is constantly losing heat but, unlike her mother, she does not need it to survive. Cryokinetics: She has the mental control to steal heat, which she can use to freeze water particles in the air into high density ice. Weather control: Victoria can control small but powerful wind currents that she uses to propel her ice blasts and ice projectiles. Elemental blast: Victoria can blast super-cold waves of icy winds from her hands that can freeze a target and steal their thermal energy. She can also make dagger-like icicles to shoot at targets, cut and pierce flesh or bludgeon and pummel a target. They can also be made to penetrate thin materials like wood and aluminum plating. Constructs: She has the ability to create various geometrical shapes of various sizes. She can raise thick walls of high density ice that can even resist punches and hits from people with super-human strength. Barrier: She can raise defensive barriers that can stop most projectiles, and heat based attacks, if made thick enough.Victoria can encase herself in a shell of extremely high density ice. While being only a little more than 10mm thick, it is strong enough to stop most projectiles and protect her from severe bodily trauma, and injury. It also does not hinder her movements in anyway because it passively unfreezes and refreezes almost instantaneously as she moves her body. Energy resistance: She is immune to all types of thermal based attacks and it actually makes her stronger. She also cannot suffer from heat related health risks. Her body temperature is so low (68°F) that she cannot get ill from diseases. She is also resistant to cold. It weakens her but she cannot die from hypothermia, or any other health dangers from cold. Martial arts: She was a dancer and cheerleader in middle school, and also took lessons in fighting styles that take advantage of or negate her small size such as Silat and Sambo. Super strength: Her enhanced strength enables her to lift around 1 ton. Transform: Permafrost can also assume three higher forms which can also boost her stats. These forms include; Ice Elemental (basically an ice golem), Ice Colossus (as 60 meter tall version of her made of ice), and her final form is her Ice Valkyrie. Weaknesses: If Victoria is without a heat source to draw strength from, she weakens to the point that she cannot stand up, and she gets very sleepy. While still awake, she is rendered unable to respond to people. Paraphernalia: She usually carries several special thermal generation grenades for her to use as a temporary heat source |
