His mother was poor and unmarried when she had become pregnant. It was a shock to her as much as to the village, but people didn't believe her when she claimed to not know who the father was. From the day he was born, Tyius showed that he was different from the other boys. He seemed stronger and was oddly good-looking in contrast to his mother, whom most found to be plain, at best, leading to rumors that the father was possibly a god, to have had some a handsome son. Tyius didn't have any friends, and spent most of his time playing with the stray dogs in the village. As he grew up, he had heard the rumors and started to wonder if they were true. Could he be the son of a god? And if so, which one? He went to the temple to pray to the gods to get answers, and Isis appeared. She told him that he was the illegitimate son of Anubis. If this was so, why had Anubis not come for him or even contacted him? Tyius had asked her. She had no answer other than to tell him that Anubis only considers himself to have one true child, his daughter Qebhet. When he left the temple, Tyius cursed out his father's name. This caught the god's attention, and he appeared, furious. As Anubis started to beat this ungrateful "son", he was attacked by several stray dogs who had come to help Tyius. Anubis laughed, and in response, summoned his jackals from Hell. They easily killed the stray dogs, but when the jackals turned their attention to Tyius, they fell dead to the ground. Anubis looked to see who was responsible for the death of his pets, and standing there was Osiris, Anubis's father. Knowing he could not defeat him, Anubis left as quickly as he came. Osiris offered his grandson the opportunity to come to the underworld with him, so that he may teach him how to use his developing powers and take his rightful place amongst the gods. Tyius agreed and became the God of Extermination. Years later, when gods were not worshipped as they once had been, Tyius was asked by Gorgo to join his team of Heretics, and Tyius joined as the Nile Hound. Powers Super strength: Tyius has the strength to lift in the vicinity of 2 tons. Physical resistance: As the son of a god, he possesses denser skin, enabling him to resist moderate physical attacks. Animal control: He has the ability to control dogs. Energy blast: He can use his staff to discharge blasts of Hellfire. Teleportation: He also has the ability to teleport anywhere on Earth. Extended lifespan: He has already lived centuries and shows no sign of aging. Weaknesses: Unknown Paraphernalia: Tyius carries a special staff that channels Hellfire. |
