Created by: Rodney Lockett Other picture: | Real Name: Robert Kane Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Height: 6 feet 1 inches Age: 31 Born in: USA Ethical alliance: Evil History Robert was raised in a family of policemen, so it was expected that after college, he would join the police force. He did as was asked of him, and for a while he was on the S.W.A.T. force, but he wanted to do something that also allowed him to use his brains. It was fun to bash in criminals' heads, but he wanted more. He left S.W.A.T. when he got the rank of Detective. It was there that his career really took off, but after while, he became disenchanted with the fact that the criminals he apprehended all lived a lavish life style while he could barely afford anything nice. He knew of cops who had enriched themselves by pocketing things from the people they had busted. They usually justified it, saying taking stuff that was acquired by nefarious means was no crime. So, Robert began to do the same to subsidize his income. He started taking small things, but soon hauled large amounts of cash and drugs. Then one day he got assigned a case hunting a serial killer. Tt took his team six months, but they finally tracked him down and caught him. As Robert was going through the killer's pockets to make sure he didn't have any weapons, he came across a gold coin. Seeing that it was really old, Robert thought it was probably valuable, so took it figuring that he would sell it later. A few days later, he stopped off at an antique dealer who specialized in rare coins. The dealer knew who Robert was because they had dealings in the past. He looked at the coin and pulled one of his books to research it further. The dealer told him that it was the lost Ghost coin of the Confederacy, and that there were rumors that this coin was cursed. He informed Robert that he was required by law to report and turn in this coin if it was ever found. Robert told him that he would turn it in himself, since he was a law enforcement officer, but the dealer pulled the coin back saying that he had to turn it in to the FBI and report who had sold it to him. Robert knew that if the FBI became involved he would need to explain where he got the coin in the first place, and that could lead to more intense questioning. He could not let that happen, he had to retrieve the coin no matter what. He suddenly felt a rage burn inside him. He gazed at the coin, as if it was calling to him, and before he knew it, he had leapt over the counter, grabbed the coin, and killed the dealer. To cover his tracts, he set up the scene to make it look like a burglary, looting the store and destroying the security system, including the hard drive that had the recording on it. In the days that followed, he felt himself becoming more violent. He argued with his colleagues and superiors, and was placed on administrative leave more than once. His outbursts and violence seemed to mainly target minorities, so he was sent in for a physic evaluation. With no noticeable improvement on his part, he was discharged from the LAPD. Feeling a need for a change of scenery, Robert felt the urge to move down south, to Mississippi. There, he joined the police force where he found more acceptance of his way of thinking. What he had not realized was that the cursed the coin had led him here. It had changed him mentally and physically, and now that it had been brought home, its influence over Robert had intensified. Robert and the coin had become one. He now saw the world as the coin did. The world as it had been two centuries ago. A world of hatred and bigotry. It was time to fulfill the coin's wishes. The acts would be heinous, but they needed to be done. Robert would take that mantle. He would become Heinous. And in time, he found other like-minded individuals and joined them. The Confederate States of America would rise again. Powers Power accessory: His cursed antique coin enhances his abilities.
