History

Mary was on a field trip with her classmates when a group of men pulled out weapons and began to rob the museum they were visiting. Upon seeing that Mary was wearing this beautiful necklace around her neck, they demanded that she gave it to them.

Although Mary was frightened, she refused to do so. Her recently deceased mother had given it to her before she had died, and Mary was not going to part with it.

But the thief was not dissuaded, and the man reached out for it.

Before he could grab it, Mary turned around and ran. This angered the thief and he shot her. Mary collapsed to the floor, and grabbed her necklace.

What the robbers didn't realize was that her necklace was more than simple jewellery. It doubled as a transmitter, and Mary had just activated it. She had just sent a signal to her protector, T3D-E.

As she laid there bleeding, T3D-E burst thru the doors of the museum.

When T3D-E saw the little girl he was created to protect dying, he killed all the robbers in a matter of minutes. He then picked up the little girl and assessed that she would have a better chance of surviving at the Commonwealth headquarters, where Mary's father, as well as, the greatest scientist in the world worked.

Mary's father was alerted and had a team ready for her arrival. They worked on her but could not stabilize the child. When her father realized he was about to lose his daughter, he saw only one option.

His team had been working on a mind transfer program, and although all the kinks had not been worked out, he decided that it was the only way to save her.

Ignoring his protesting colleagues, he went about the transfer, but in his rush, forgot to wipe out the last mind that was still in the buffer. The previous test subject had been a crazy killer from death row, and when the mind transfer was completed, both brain patterns began to merge inside the cybernetic brain.

Unaware of this, her father continued the procedure, fashioning the android body into the likeness of his daughter. He also uploaded all the information he could to the artificial brain, giving his daughter immense knowledge.

When the android body was turned on, Mary sat there for a few minutes, as the mental and physical parameters came into sync with one another. Then, she turned to her father, smiled and ran to hug him.

It took a few months before her father began to realize that his daughter was not as she had been. There were some minor changes in her personality. She was short-tempered at times, and he would often notice her staring, with an almost evil look on her face.

His doubts were confirmed when he woke up one night, and saw her standing by his bed. He asked her what was wrong, but instead of answering, she pulled out a huge knife, stabbed and killed him.

With her vast knowledge and computer access, she altered the video footage of all the cameras to show that she was in bed while one of the convicts locked up in the basement had escaped and killed her father.

Mary inherited her father's estate and with this new power and wealth, took control of the company, where they continued to develop more weapons and for added security, recruited individuals with special skills and abilities to form The Commonwealth.
