When Avatar Prime set out to create Shadow Force, he first sought out those who had already made it their mission to fight evil. Of all the people he had envisaged to recruit, Shayama had been his first choice. Her record as a demon fighter was undisputed, and she already had the skills she needed. He simply enhanced her abilities to make her an even more formidable fighter. Avatar prime had contemplated offering her the leadership of the team but Shayama was a loner. Instead, he gave the leadership to his other recruit, Shadow. Avatar Prime needed someone who could bring a team together and Shadow had proven himself over the years as he had trained many teams into cohesive units. Shayama had no problem following his orders in the field as long as fighting evil was the end game. It did not matter to her whether the demon she was sent to dispatch was a weakling or a god. Anything evil would do. Outside the field however, Shayama kept to herself, preferring the study of old texts rather than getting to know her teammates. Shayama has no place in her life for friends and leisure. After a battle, when her teammates would rejoice, she would return to her studies. She knows all too well that evil is never completely defeated. It could be subdued and contained, but it is always trying to claw its way back. Powers Super strength: After Avatar Prime selected her, he augmented her strength in the 5 ton range. Enhanced vitals: Her extensive training has increased her endurance, stamina, and her reflexes. Weapons Master: She is a martial arts and weapons expert. Paraphernalia: Dark Slayer uses an assortment of Holy weapons, but her two most powerful ones are her sword (the Nandaka) said to have belonged to the God Vishnu and her axe (the Parashu) weapon of the God Shiva.  |
